I wish to correct Mr Bob Dove’s letter (May 17).
I did not write the letter headlined “Voters conned by MP Russell”. It was written by Andy Abbott, of East Stockwell Street, and, as far as I am aware, he is not a Labour Party member.
So, I do not think the letter was written as a result of “sour grapes”, but from a genuine belief of betrayal – vote Lib Dem and get a Tory!
My letter was about the many “party political colours” Bob Russell has shown allegiance to. No sour grapes in that.
