Last year I wrote to the Gazette complaining about non-delivery of plastic refuse/recycle bags from Colchester Council.
Lo and behold, it’s happened again. I live on a shared drive, my neighbour got his on April 6, but I got none.
I phoned the council and it said it would be seven-14 days before they were delivered.
I phoned once again on April 14, only to be told they will be delivered at the end of May.
I also sent a letter, but had no response. So, if I leave my rubbish out in carrier bags, I wonder if the council will collect?
