After reading Mrs Hawkins’s letter (Gazette April 13), I had to write about the service we get from Royal Mail.
For the past 15 months lots of our mail, which had the correct address and postcode, has been re-directed to us from Kendall Road.
I have written to the head post office twice about this problem. They assured me that this would not happen again.
On April 14, we received a letter posted in Colchester on February 2, 2010, again re-directed from Kendall Road,.
If it was not for the kindness of the people at Kendall Road, we would not receive our mail.

...I have also had post go missing, like Mrs Hawkins, in the past couple of weeks.
Two items were important documents.
We both live on the same estate, but different areas.
