ALMOST 40 Tiptree students were stranded in Iceland.
About 38 GCSE and A Level Georgraphy pupils from Thurstable School travelled to the country during the Easter holidays for a field trip.
The pupils returned home 12 hours late, landing in the UK at 8am yesterday.
