AMATEUR photographers have the chance to get their work displayed at Colchester’s newest art museum thanks to a competition run by the Archeological Trust.
The Trust is asking people to send in pictures of the historic parts of the town, with the top photos being blown up and displayed in Slack Spaces new site in Queen Street.
There are two categories for entrants, under 16 and adults, and the winners will get the chance to be an archeologist for the day.
The photos will be part of a Slack Space’s Discover Colchester exhibition, which launches on September 8 2010.
Pictures can be emailed to loveromancolchester@hotmail.com and the closing date for entries is August 1 2010.
