I had to move out of my flat in Colchester as my partner and I had another baby and we needed a bigger place.

The block we lived in had six separate flats in it.

Since moving out I regularly visit one of my ex-neighbours.

The new tenants in my old flat have caused nothing but trouble for at least three of the other tenants with verbal abuse and threats.

Yet as far as the victims are concerned, nothing significant is being done about it.

Despite constant calls to the council, it appears to be sitting on its backside, ignoring the situation. It has also failed on numerous occasions to return calls made about the situation.

The police have been involved, arrests have been made, councillor Dave Harris and Bob Russell have been involved and yet the situation is still unresolved.

It’s disgraceful. I’m personally fed up with seeing my friend and ex neigbours suffering because of this.

The most annoying and unbelievable aspect of the antisocial behaviour being caused, is the council has suggested to my friend and his neighbours it could help them find some temporary accommodation to get away from what’s happening.

I’m sorry, but yet again this shows how ridiculous and useless our council and this country is when it comes to antisocial behaviour.

It’s always the perpetrators who get the support, never the victims.

The council should be ashamed, and clearly none of the people involved in this particular case are fit for purpose in sorting it out.
