Health chiefs are recruiting drug-users and alcoholics for an official NHS talking shop, as they bid to help more addicts kick the habit for good.
As many drinkers and substance-abusers as possible are needed for the new Colchester Service Users Forum including those still boozing or hooked on narcotics.
Organisers say the only way to "improve the effectiveness" of rehab programmes and counselling sessions is by canvassing the views of people who need help.
Comments made at the forum will be used to formulate policies.
