A woman and a teenager have been told they will not be walking free from court after they admitted a robbery.
A judge has also asked for a statement from the victim of the robbery to find out how she is coping after the incident.
Heidi Hopkins, 21, and a 17-year-old youth had been due to face trial on a charge of robbing Tara McSweeney in the Clacton area last April.
But the pair admitted the charge at Chelmsford Crown Court. Sentence was adjourned for reports.
They were both bailed.
Hopkins, formerly of Brooklands Gardens, Jaywick, but now living in Epping Close, Chelmsford, and the 17-year-old, of the Harwich area, are accused of grabbing a handbag from Miss McSweeney on April 5 last year.
The teenager cannot be named for legal reasons.
Another man, Frank James, 36, of Sunbeam Avenue, Jaywick, has admitted the robbery charge.
