A disabled pensioner today told how callous bogus callers charmed their way into her home.
The crooks hugged their victim and pretended to be her long-lost friends.
Then they stole cash from the pensioner after rummaging through her possessions.
The woman said: "I'm angry at them, but I'm more angry with myself for being taken in in that way."
The man and woman knocked on the door of the pensioner's flat in Greenstead Road, Colchester, at about 5.30pm on Monday.
