Gareth Williams has netted his second hat-trick for Colchester United almost three years after he recorded the first.
Former Wales Under-20 international striker Williams hit his latest trio in a 5-2 Pontin's Combination win over Barnet at Layer Road yesterday afternoon.
The former Crystal Palace front-runner scored his first hat-trick in a 4-1 Division Two win over Port Vale on the same ground on March 1, 2003 - manager Phil Parkinson's first game in charge.
Colchester's other two goals against Barnet were netted by Kemal Izzet.
