Survival cookery classes at a weekend scout camp in Hawkwell saw guides and scouts cooking up squirrel, rabbits and pigeons.
The idea was to show campers at Belchamps Scout Centre, in Holyoak Lane, how to survive in conditions where wild animals such as these might be the only protein available to eat.
