Vandals caused hundreds of pounds of damage to cars in four separate incidents.
Yobs caused £60 of damage to the windscreen of a Ford Granada car in Leas Road, Clacton.
Vandals also attacked a car in a village. They caused more than £500 of damage after scratching the side of a Toyota car outside the owner's house in Peake Avenue, Kirby Cross.
In another incident, an MG convertable car was damaged.
The yobs scratched one side of the car, which had been left in Ramsden Close, Clacton. Vandals also punctured the tyre of a parked car.
About £30 of damage was caused to the green Peugeot vehicle, which had been left in Hall Lane, Walton. Police have asked for anyone who might have seen anything to contact them on 01255 221312.
