A man whose disappearance prompted a major police search has been found safe and well.
Frank Cattell's clothes and mobile phone were discovered in a bag in a seafront shelter.
They were found along with some tablets by a member of the public at The Esplanade, Frinton.
The Essex Police helicopter was launched on Monday afternoon and a search made of areas between Clacton and Walton Pier.
No sign was found of Mr Cattell, 53, who lives in Clacton, and who had not been seen by any members of his family for about a month.
However, yesterday morning he was spotted huddled up in a shelter at Frinton.
