A YOUNG man was today recovering after being knifed in a suspected road rage attack.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the taxi rank near Grays High Street just before 2.30pm yesterday after the 21-year-old man from Purfleet had been attacked.
A trail of blood ran from a bus stop at Crown Road, near the Morrisons supermarket, to Grays railway station some 100 metres away.
The victim was treated at the scene for what was believed to be a knife wound before being taken to Basildon Hospital.
