A Maldon woman is running her first London marathon to raise money for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution
Jenny Sjollema, aged 32, is office manager at sports marketing agency 'Creating Excellence' in South Woodham Ferrers. She is pulling on her running shoes to compete in the marathon for the first time.
A keen rower and sailor, Jenny will be running the 26 mile plus event on April 23 on behalf of the RNLI.
Jenny has been rising early and out jogging twice a week at 7.00am to raise her fitness levels. She said: "I decided to enter because it seemed a good life challenge and a reason to get fit."
