A Westcliff artist has been selected for a scheme which supports the East of England's most promising artists.
Sculptor and installation artist Tom Cox-Bisham, 29, from Pembury Road, is one of just 14 artists who will benefit from the Escalator Visual Arts Initiative.
The Arts Council England-funded scheme offers emerging artists crucial investment, professional development support and showcasing opportunities.
Mr Cox-Bisham studied Fine Art at Reading University and the Slade. One of his previous works, Rotating Door, was a full-scale replica of a modern office facade made entirely from corrugated cardboard.
