Point-to-point fans were treated to a bumper day of action when the annual Essex Farmers and Union meeting was held at Marks Tey.

The event is usually held in early May but was brought forward to mid-February. And the decision paid handsome dividends as a bumper crowd turned up to watch several double figure fields on the eight-race card.
