THE Hadleigh bar which claims to be the smallest nightclub in Britain is applying for a 24-hour drinking licence.
Carl Streamer, the owner of Fatty's Bar, in the High Street, says the licence would only be used for special sporting events or functions.
Mr Streamer said: "We put an application in for a 24-hour licence as a test, because there is no point in having the new legislation if no-one makes applications for it."
