Pupils in every class at Home Farm School, where lunches are prepared for the children on the premises, are to team up with their cook to produce a special menu.
She will go round to each class and spend time getting their ideas for a dish to put on the menu.
The menu will then be put into action and the pupils will be able to sample their culinary ideas.
The project kick started this week and staff hope the menu will be ready for sampling once the schools returns from its half term break.
