ANGLERS found conditions challenging at Sunday's Gloucester Park Open, with many competitors failing to weigh in.
Most of the other participants found fish scarce in the early part of the match at the Basildon lake, taking most fish in the last couple of hours of the match.
One angler to buck the trend was winner Steve Griffiths, who fished the incoming sluice, catching steadily throughout the match.
