A DELIGHTED mum has welcomed home her triplets.
Tina Thomas, of Blyth Walk, Benfleet. gave birth to Jay, Kieran and Billy, conceived by IVF, on New Year's Eve, since when they have been monitored closely by staff in the special care maternity unit at Southend Hospital.
Now they have at last been allowed home.
Mrs Thomas, 35, said: "It is really good to have them at home, but it is really hard work.
"I'm not getting any sleep!
"All the babies are doing fine."
