A teenager was in hospital today after suffering multiple stab wounds.
The 17-year-old's condition was said to be serious but not life-threatening following an incident in Clacton's Nayland Drive.
A second older man who is also believed to have been stabbed was dealt with at the scene.
Police were called at about 8.20pm last night to an altercation between two groups of men, police said.
Four people, three from the Clacton area and one from London, have been arrested in connection with the incident. The teenager was taken to Colchester General Hospital.
