The school, which has been placed in special measures, must appoint a permanent headteacher and deputy headteacher and raise standards in key subjects.

The Diocese of Chelmsford is working with the school to find a new headteacher.
The school now faces regular visits by inspectors, until they are satisfied that St James' Primary no longer requires special measures.
