A group of students from Colchester Institute have successfully concluded a week-long residential visit to Colchester Garrison.

Learners studying for a National Diploma in Public Services experienced Army life first-hand and were taught new skills from the British Army Youth Team.
The students learned military survival skills, had the chance to get involved in canoeing, paintball target shooting, reconnaissance exercises, and using the assault course.
James Howes, business and public services curriculum manager at the college, said "Hopefully, the students learned a lot about military life at the garrison."
