Police have closed the investigation into an alleged rape of a 16-year-old girl in Braintree.
A 24-year-old man from Braintree and a 22-year-old man from south-east London were initially arrested and bailed by police in Braintree, following a suspected attack off Coldnailhurst Avenue on October 15.
Both have now been released from their police bail.
A spokesman for Essex Police said they were no longer investigating the alleged incident and all inquires have now ceased.
