Richard Naylor found himself embroiled in a post-match spat with Blades boss Neil Warnock.

Instant impression - debutant Alan Lee comes under pressure from Chris Morgan. (47187-60)

But it was in a moment of quiet reflection that the defender perfectly summed-up Ipswich Town's current scenario.

"I could keep talking about our improved performances, the potential in the team and the fact we're moving in the right direction," he told the Evening Gazette.

"But it doesn't alter the fact we're not winning enough games at the moment.

"We've got to start picking up more points and being successful right now, as well as in the future." It's a valid statement.

Like he says, Ipswich are improving. But they definitely need to start winning more games - like this one, because Jimmy Juan's sublime free-kick had given them the lead right up until the 77th minute.

To make matters worse, Danny Haynes squandered a golden chance to double their lead.

Then, within 12 minutes, United drew level from their first noteworthy attack of the second period.

It was a soft goal to concede, too, because Danny Webber's shot from an angle somehow squeezed past two defenders, Scott Barron and Naylor.

Seconds after the final whistle, the latter then got involved in one last flashpoint.

Warnock used his index fingers to indicate the final score to Ipswich fans - claiming it was good-humoured banter - and that prompted an angry response from Naylor.

The two became involved in an argument and stewards had to intervene.
