Two entrepreneur workshops are being held in Chelmsford and Colchester as part of national enterprise week in Essex.
Students aged 15-18 are being invited to an entrepreneurship masterclass at the Marconi social club in Chelmsford on November 17. This event, backed by the Essex In Boom! organisation, will give advice on the technical process of setting up a business.
Programme Manager, Tracey-Anne Rider commented: "This is a vital workshop designed to meet the needs of our future business leaders. Local entrepreneurs will be on hand to help students identlfy the key attititudes and skills required in starting their own business."
A further Essex in Boom! one-day workshop on 'Entrepreneurship, Higher Education and Regional Development' is being held at the University of Essex in Colchester on November 18.
Jay Mitra, Professor of Business Enterprise & Innovation at the University of Essex said: "This unique event will promote an increase in entrepreneurial culture in the region. Delegates will have the chance to interact with highly respected international policy makers, practitioners and academics together with a range of local counterparts."
