YOUNG entrepreneurs who are hoping to start their own business in Southend have been given a boost by the council's Youth and Connexions Service.
The service has been converting the former community information shop in Cluny Square into the new Young Person's Enterprise Centre.
It will offer young people aged 16 and over practical advice and support on how to start a business as well as providing a venue where they can work with others developing small business and enterprise projects.
