ESSEX Police Authority chairman Robert Chambers has pledged policing in villages near Rochford will not be affected by the planned merger between Southend and Rayleigh divisions.
Mr Chambers made the assurances at a special meeting called by Hawkwell Parish Council following public concerns about policing in the area.
