BOOKWORMS at Bardfield Primary School, in Clay Hill Road, Vange have been devouring the books in their brand new library.
More than 1,000 books have so far been donated by pupils.
Books were also donated by publishing companies and Barleylands Farm donated a family admission ticket that was raffled to raise funds.
The new library, which is for both infants and juniors, has been designed to be cosy in the fiction section and more like a classroom in the reference section.
