A GANG which flooded south Essex with cocaine and ecstasy has been jailed for a total of 12 years.
The gang, led by king pin Kingsley Dennis, 28, of Gravel Road, Eastwood, moved thousands of pounds of the Class A drugs.
Dennis had originally denied being the brains behind the operation, claiming he was "just another dealer", but a jury at Southend Crown Court did not believe his version of events.
Dennis, a father of one, also recruited addicts to help reinforce his drug dealing network.
Former Essex youth boxing champion Max Kennedy, 23, of Warners Bridge Chase, Rochford, and Daniel Osborne, 25, of Creswick Avenue, Rayleigh, were both brought into the gang.
Dennis was found guilty of charges of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
Kennedy, who drove the van delivering drugs, admitted possession and Osborne admitted charges of possession with intent to supply.
