A LORRY driver was lucky to escape with his life when three fence posts punctured his cab after his vehicle overturned.
Basildon firefighters used cutting equipment to free the 38-year-old man because the posts were trapping him in the cab as it lay on its side.
The accident happened on the Southend-bound carriageway of the A13, near the Five Bells roundabout, Corringham, at 1pm, on Saturday afternoon.
