A multi-million pound scheme to dual the A131 Great Notley bypass will be put under the microscope at a series of public exhibitions.
Residents will be able to have their say on the £4.2million scheme to dual the section of the A131 between Notley Green roundabout, Cuckoo Wood roundabout and Queenborough roundabout at the events.
Highway bosses say the changes need to be made to improve traffic flow and cater for more vehicles from nearby housing developments and the Great Leighs Racecourse, when it opens its doors in October 2006.
The exhibitions will take place at Great Notley Discovery Centre on Friday, September 30, between 2 and 8pm and Saturday, October 1, between 9am and 1pm.
Events will also be held at Great Notley Garden Village Community Hall in Notley Green on Thursday, October 6, from 2pm until 8pm and Friday, October 7, between 9am and 4pm. Display boards will also be available for viewing at Causeway House in Bocking End from Monday, October 10, until Friday, October 14.
