Desperate mum Louise Harknett was at her wit's end - so she called in the experts.
Now she is set to feature in the BBC's smash hit lifestyle programme Little Angels, as she is shown how to improve the relationship with her children.
Louise, 35, contacted the programme-makers in search of advice but was invited to appear on the show with Jasmine, 11, Melissa, six and four-year-old Daniel.
"I don't regret having done it because I really was at the end of my tether. It is just unfortunate I had to be filmed. I wish there was something other than this," she said.
Cameras were fitted in the lounge, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom to capture every day activities in the Harknett household and a film crew followed them when they made trips outside the home.
Then education psychologist Laverne Antrobus, the member of the Little Angels team of experts assigned to the family, arrived to show Louise tapes of how she dealt with the children and give her advice and techniques to help turn things around.
Louise, of Fairhead Road North, Colchester, had to find better ways of dealing with all three children but it was little Daniel who was presenting the biggest challenge.
The programme featuring the Harknett family will be shown on BBC3 on Thursday September 29, at 8pm.
