There is just no stopping Colchester's ace female boxing champion Shanee Martin.
Undefeated since turning fully professional almost a year ago the Gladiator Way fighter lived up to her road name with a no-nonsense, no punches pulled demolition of fellow flyweight Abina Atseva - her third Bulgarian opponent in a row.
The 23-year-old super-fit Martin polished off her latest rival in quicktime, forcing Atseva to throw in the towel by a technical knock-out after 54 seconds of the third round at Bethnal Green's York Hall on Sunday night.
Scheduled to fight six two-minute rounds, Martin came out fighting from the first bell and had the older and more experienced Atseva in trouble from the outset.
"I can only fight what they put in front of me," the jubilant Martin told the Gazette. "And I was too much for her from the word go.
"I am normally a slow starter but in this fight I was determined to come out of my corner fast and be busy from the first bell.
"I had put so much into this fight and everything I had done in training worked out like a dream for me."
Her latest triumph keeps Martin on course for a head-to-head contest with European Flyweight champion Cathy Brown sometime next year.
