STAFF and patients at the new eye clinic at Orsett Hospital can keep up to date with news, sport and soap operas thanks to a donation from Orsett Hospital League of Friends.
The hospital was given a television to be used in the department waiting room, after the League of Friends, which regularly raises money for the hospital, heard this would be greatly used and appreciated.
Chairman Mary Fairweather said: "It is nice for people to have something to keep them occupied while they are waiting for friends and relatives to be treated.
