The Colchester United boss has recently found himself fielding several junior squad members due to injury problems.
And, despite being on the first rungs of the senior ladder, they have come good for the Layer Road boss and helped the U's earn seven points out of the last nine.
Their latest victory was on the road against Port Vale, where they played their part in securing a 1-0 win over the Potteries side on Saturday.
Parkinson said: "Over the last three games George Elokobi, John White and Garry Richards have been putting in some great performances.
"We have a number of first-team players out at the moment and the youngsters have come in and helped us grind out some very encouraging results.
"We're working our way up Coca-Cola League One now and those youngsters are doing their utmost to keep themselves in the team and I want that to continue."
