Football-mad Jon Weaver has spent two years visiting soccer grounds in and around Essex.

From the little-known clubs which attract hardly any crowds to successful league clubs such as Colchester United, the football expert has devoted his spare time to finding out about the grounds.
Now Mr Weaver, who lives in Braintree and works in Witham, has put all the facts and trivia together for a new book called The Football Grounds of Rural Essex. It features 150 pitches.
