WITH pillow fights and greasy poles Old Leigh Regatta is unrivalled in providing fun family entertainment and this year was no exception.
Crowds flocked to the Regatta on Leigh seafront over the weekend to soak up the atmosphere and possibly the last of the summer sun.
In its 32nd year, the event still manages to capture the imaginations of young and old, as families and couples travel from as far as East London and Kent to enjoy the games, music and stalls.
