NEW adventure trails and an interactive visitor centre are set to be unveiled following an £80,000 makeover at a Billericay nature reserve.
The attractions will be opened in time for the autumn season at Norsey Woods nature reserve, thanks to funding from both the Cleanaway Pitsea Marshes Trust and Heritage Lottery Fund.
The mile-long path takes in stunning views of the reserve's ancient woodland, while the visitor centre will provide nature-lovers with interactive information about Norsey Woods' long history - which dates back to the Neolithic Age.
The new facilities will be opened by Basildon Council chairman Sandra Hillier on Friday, September 30.
