A baby-faced schoolboy is believed to have become the youngest criminal in the county to be given an anti-social behaviour order.
A judge branded serial offender Steven Patmore a "little devil".
The youngster could barely see over the dock when he appeared at Colchester Magistrates' Court yesterday. He was allowed to stand behind his solicitor instead.
The court heard that Patmore of Gloucester Avenue, Colchester, was convicted of a string of offences.
The youngster yawned as conditions of his two-year anti-social behaviour were read out.
They included not throwing missiles and not carrying tools that could be used in break-ins, such as screwdrivers, in a public place.
Patmore was also given a curfew and barred from using abusive and insulting language.
He now faces custody if he breaches the order
