It is still not too late to enrol in this autumn term's classes in dance, music and drama in the Maldon district.

The Maldon Music School takes place on Tuesdays at the Plume School's Mill Road campus between 5pm and 8pm.

A group of qualified teachers will offer singing, individual and shared instrumental tuition, plus aural, theory and orchestra.

Nina Lawrenson, who has worked with performers including Harry Enfield, leads sessions featuring improvisation and stage make-up at the Carmelite Youth Centre, Maldon, on Tuesdays from 5pm-6.30pm.

Jazz dance classes take place at St Peter's School, Burnham, on Wednesdays from 6pm to 7pm and at the Maldon Carmelite centre, Maldon, from 5pm-6.30pm.
