Maldon attacked from the first whistle and were unlucky not to establish a lead early on. Continued pressure on the Redbridge defence from forwards Carol Martin and Nicola Gardiner forced numerous short corners throughout the first half.
The first goal came just before the end of the first period when captain Stella Pipe picked up a loose ball on the edge of the circle and slammed it home.
Maldon came out fighting in the second half and as a result of a sustained bombardment of the Redbridge goal, Carol Martin slotted home the visitor's second goal.
The Town maintained their control of the play through the hard work of their midfield in particular Sue Thornett and newcomer Charlotte Hull.
Redbridge pulled a goal back but Maldon's win was sealed by a goal from Emma Cockerill.
Player of the match went to Karen Wells.
