Three-year-old Liam Whigham, who died in a fire at his Dovercourt home, will be buried on Monday.
His aunt, Michelle Whigham, said today the private service would be held at Dovercourt's All Saints' Church.
"We will be laying Liam to rest with just family and a very few close friends.
"It has been nearly eight weeks since he died and we want this opportunity to say goodbye to him privately."
After the service, Liam will be buried at Dovercourt Cemetery.
Liam died at his home in Jubilee Close on September 1.
His body had not been released until now because of tests being carried out to establish how much carbon monoxide was in his blood when he died.
