Soccer remain at the top of Division Two South of the Premier Holidays East League following an impressive win on Saturday.

Taking the initiative immediately from the push back, Brentwood took the lead through a short corner scored by Wagstaff after 10 minutes.

Shortly afterwards, a foul on Corrigan off the ball was adjudged to be serious enough to merit a penalty flick, and it was 2-0 as Hart got himself on to the scoresheet.

The home team were not content with their lead and continued to press a Stevenage side who were penned into their own half and the reward came in the shape of a splendid individual goal from Hart who struck home from the top of the 'D'.

Starting the second half with a 3-0 lead, Brentwood should have maintained their control of the game but the travellers came out strongly and converted a short corner 10 minutes into the half.

Brentwood stepped up the pace and regained their form that had been displayed earlier.

A long pass by Piper picked out Wagstaff at the far post unmarked, which meant that putting the ball into the net was academic.

Following slick passing from Hull and Hart, Wagstaff was again left with a chance to shoot, but a stick tackle by a defender stopped his connection with the ball -- the result -- another penalty flick.

Up stepped Hart once more to place the ball high into the top corner of the net and to claim his first hat-trick of the season.

With the game won and only a few minutes left on the clock, Wagstaff completed his own hat-trick, via a corner corner and to put the icing on the cake, Stevenage won themselves a penalty flick in stoppage time, however, Johnson in goal, ensured the scoreline remained unchanged with a fine save.
