Basildon charities could benefit to the tune of £4,000 if this year's Gloucester Park fireworks go with a bang.
Organised by the district's branch of the Round Table, the brains behind it hope to raise the impressive sum with a 25-minute display accompanied by music.
Gates will open at 6.15pm on Guy Fawkes night, November 5. The display will not kick off until 7.15pm but there will be a fun fair, food stalls and a DJ.
Tickets priced £3 are available from a stall on the pavement outside the Living store in Basildon town centre tomorrow and the following Saturday.
They will also be on offer from Monday, November 2 to Thursday, November 5.
Tickets on the gate will be priced £4 but children under five will get in free. Money raised will be handed out to Basildon charities, including Basildon Hospital.
