Colchester United crashed out of the Southern Junior Floodlit Cup after an eleven-goal, first round replay thriller against Leyton Orient at Layer Road.

The young U's, who drew the first game away 3-3, went down 6-5 having at one time been 4-1 down.

"It was a coach's nightmare," said boss Micky Cook. "Individual errors have been costing us dearly in defence all season and it was evident in our game last night, but we'll be better for the experience."

The U's goals were scored by Mark Warriner, K.K. Opara, man-of-the-match Sean Hillier (2), plus Lomano Tresor Lua Lua.
