Bowling under the team name of Chelmsford Sliders, Mike Rogacs, together with John and Debbie Edmonds who bowl at Megabowl Chelmsford, have won the Southern Final of Megabowl's National Fax League which was held at Fareham.
The competition attracted 59 entrants who bowled on a league basis for 20 weeks throughout the summer and the team finished third in the Southern section with the top ten teams qualifying for the final.
The top five Southern teams now join their opposite numbers in the Northern section for the National Final to be held in Manchester on November 29.
In the Southern Final, the team won seven of their nine games played in a round robin format, taking the title by a margin of 240 pins.
