Football came home for young Mark Watson when he met two Southend United players at a special party in the Kursaal.
Mark was a guest at the Fantastic Festive Feast, run by charity the Dream Team for sick or terminally ill children, their brothers and sisters, and parents.
As well as footballers Andy Harris and Barry Conlan, other celebrities who joined the fun were Bob Carolgees and Spit the Dog, appearing in panto at the Cliffs Pavilion, Westcliff band Skandal, Essex FM DJ Mike Porter, Postman Pat, and of course, Father Christmas.
