David Adekola came back from injury to get the goal which took Billericay Town up to second place in the Ryman Premier Division.
After missing five matches with Achilles trouble, Adekola netted his 12th goal of the season.
The strike was enough to condemn visitors Dulwich to defeat and bring Town within three points of leaders Aylesbury, whose match at Hampton was postponed.
Purfleet moved up to third after their 6-1 demolition job of Walton and Hersham. Fleet trail Billericay by one point.
